NEW YORK CITY:
A Historical/Cycling Tour of the Big Apple This unique tour of NYC offers rare views of the Big Apple. From Brooklyn
Heights, through the Lower East Side, and up to Central Park, a city guide cycles with us
while describing the history and events that shape the neighborhoods we pass. (basic
route: 17 miles easy)
PRINCETON, NEW JERSEY: Campus Archways,
Country Farms, and Apple Orchards From
Princeton Universitys ivory towers to the colonial countryside, our ride takes us
past beautiful estates, along rural brooks, and by grazing horses. Riders have the chance
to pick their favorite fruits at Terhune Orchard and can wander the boutique-lined streets
of Princeton Borough and gothic archways of Princeton University. (basic route: 17 miles
easy, extended route: 25 miles easy/moderate)
SHELTER ISLAND, NEW YORK: Sand Dunes and
Sea-Scapes Bicycle Tour Company staff
greets you at Shelter Islands North Ferry station. In the morning, we cycle to West
Neck Point, where ocean views surround our ride along this one-lane peninsula bordered by
sand dunes. For lunch, we stop at the Sunset Beach Restaurant -- an outdoor cafe
overlooking the harbor. Our afternoon ride to Rams Island takes us through gorgeous
countryside, past golf greens and fairways, and by a nature reserve. (basic route: 17
miles easy, extended route: 27 miles easy)
GREENWICH, CONNECTICUT: Backcountry to Long Island Sound

beautiful cycling. Our morning route takes us along tree-lined roads, horse stables, and
scenic estates. After a picnic lunch, we catch ocean views by the Long Island Sound.
